BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

DALE RAYSON, 30, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing alcohol valued at £158.35 and assaulting a man at Sainsbury’s, Bicester on March 21. He was given a conditional discharge for 24 months and must pay compensation totalling £200 and court costs of £100.

LAURA COX, 32, of no fixed abode, admitted causing criminal damage to a car windscreen and a window pane on June 9 at Kidlington. She was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £30.

DAMIAN ROBERTS, 42, of Broome Way, Banbury, admitted stealing Miss Dior perfume valued at £154 from Boots, Banbury. He was fined £40 and must pay compensation of £154, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40.

JOSHUA SMALLEY, 25, of no fixed abode, admitted assaulting a woman and causing criminal damage to an i-Phone 6 of a value unknown at Bicester on July 6 as well as breaching a previously imposed conditional discharge. He was fined a total of £150 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30, and court costs of £85.

GRANT QUICK, 24, of Appleton, Abingdon, was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving on June 6 at the A40 Northern Bypass, Oxford. He was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for six months.

JAMES BONE, 39, of Freehold Street, Lower Heyford, admitted stealing two bottles of aftershave valued at £89.50 from Debenhams, Castle Quay, Banbury, on April 5. He was fined £75 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

SAFINA BRIGGS, 39, of Barratts Way, Sutton Courtenay, admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on May 27. She was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

MICHAELA MORGAN, 42, of Kingsway, Banbury, admitted failing to notify the department for work and pensions of a change in entitlement for personal independence payment between November 10 2015 and November 23 2017. She was made subject to a community order to include 100 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

ELAINE PEARCE, 58, of Broughton Poggs, Lechlade, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on August 10 at Little Faringdon, Lechlade. Had 111 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and made subject to a community order to include 120 hours of unpaid work. She must also pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for three years.

RACHEL STRINGER, 27, of Duns Tew Road, Middle Barton, Oxfordshire, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on August 8 at Walterbush Road, Chipping Norton. Had 119 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was made subject to a community order to include 120 hours of unpaid work and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 24 months.

ZACHARY MARK LEACH, 32, of Chalkpit Lane, Chinnor, was convicted of speeding at 96mph in a 70mph zone on the A34 between Chilton and Milton on June 26. Fined £280, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Five penalty points.

MATTHEW MOODY, 26, of York Close, Bicester, was convicted of using a vehicle without insurance in Longfields, Bicester, on March 24. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

CHARLIE JAMES MORRIS, 19, of Morrell Avenue, Oxford, was convicted of driving a vehicle without a licence in Warneford Lane, Oxford on March 21. Fined £220, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Three penalty points.

IVO DOMINIK PEKALSKI, 27, of Oakthorpe Road, Oxford, was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving in Garsington Road, Oxford, on March 23. Fined £220, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

STEVEN DERRICK ALLERY, 25, of Bushey Road, Bampton, admitted drink-driving in Station Road, Brize Norton, on July 12. Had 104mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Community order made and he must carry out 80 hours unpaid work in the next 12 months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

WILLIAM CHIVERS, 75, of The Street, Crowmarsh Gifford, admitted drink-driving in Didcot Road, Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, on August 18. Had 42mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £120, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

SHANE LOVERIDGE, 25, of Maclean Drive, Southmoor, admitted possessing Cocaine and Cannabis in Abingdon on April 29. Fined £350, must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and court costs of £85.

ALAN VALENTINE, 32, of Potteries Lane, Chilton, admitted breaching a non-molestation order by attending an address in Milton on August 30. Fined £230, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

TERANCE MITCHELL, 28, of Manzel Road, Caversfield, admitted failing to provide a blood specimen for analysis at Banbury Police Station on July 19. Community order made and he must attend treatment for drug dependency for six months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

DARREN HAINES, 46, of Brome Place, Headington, admitted stealing £3,090 from his employer CCF in Abingdon between September, 28, 2017 and October, 13, 2017. Must carry out 150 hours unpaid work, pay £3,090 in compensation and £85 court costs.
