A CONMAN has admitted scamming a woman out of tens of thousands of pounds by fraudulently promising to sell her cars.
Gary Sheehy, of Newfield Cottages, Eynsham, was set to stand trial for the three counts of fraud by false representation.
In a last minute change of heart the 54-year old pleaded guilty to all of the charges at Oxford Crown Court yesterday.
Sheehy admitted fraudulently agreeing to sell an Audi Q5 as well as a VW Polo and promising a return on a in investment for the sale of six Mini Coopers.
The charges all relate to one victim on October 31, 2015.

Sheehy was released on bail to await sentence which will take place at the same court on November 8.
Ahead of the sentencing hearing a confiscation order was agreed against Sheehy to the sum of £38,791.47
