A POPULAR convenience store and pharmacy on an Oxford estate is set to undergo a refit.
Spar in Dunnock Way, Greater Leys has applied for a minor variation in its licence so it can change its inside layout and refit the shop.
The supermarket, which is also home to the Leys Pharmacy, will move around fridges and shelving as part of the plan.
No timetable for works has as yet been released.
The shop is one of the few amenities to serve the Greater Leys part of the estate and is currently open from 8am until 11pm.
Acting on behalf of the shop Blakemore Retail has applied to Oxford City Council to grant the variation, which would take effect as soon as possible.
