FRUSTRATED residents in Botley have been reportedly been without Virgin Media services since yesterday afternoon.
The company has told customers it hoped to have the issue fixed by 12.05pm today.
@virginmedia please can you confirm the status of service for botley, oxford. Looks like Lots of people are having problems and your status system is not showing correctly. Cheers

One Oxford Mail reader in Botley said internet, television and landline access were all down.
She added: "Many people in Botley are affected but I suspect it's much wider.
"Virgin Media's website service status shows problems all over the country.
"It has been like this for about 18 hours now."
Another in nearby North Hinksey said her internet also crashed yesterday.
Botley and Sunningwell district councillors Debby Hallett and Emily Smith are also among those affected.
Yesterday @virginmedia went down. Website said would be back up 23:25 (suspiciously precise, but nevertheless). This am it’s still down. Now promises us 12:05. Also susp precise. Do you refund me for each day I have no service? And each false hope? You’ve just raised my rates.

I’m sure @virginmedia will restore services by 12:05. Very confident they will do as they promised. Aren’t we all?

In response to the councillor's tweet, Virgin Media said: "Apologies for the loss of service. Rest assured our team are on the case and we hope to have you back up and running very soon."
A spokesperson for Virgin Media added: "We are working as quickly as possible to resolve an issue which is affecting a small number of our cable customers accessing our services.
"We apologise for the inconvenience caused."
