A COUNCILLOR has hit back over suggestions prices have fallen in a flagship housing estate.
John Cotton, previously leader of South Oxfordshire District Council, was responding to the release of the latest land registry figures which showed a 6.1 per cent drop in the price of homes in the OX11 postcode.
This postcode includes houses in Great Western Park, which Mr Cotton oversaw the development of during his time as leader, and he said the fall could be explained by the fact that it is the smaller homes on the site that have been sold recently.
