RESIDENTS of Newport’s Nash Road were in for a shock on Sunday morning (October 14), when a two-vehicle crash caused one of the cars involved to flip upside-down and come crashing down on the pavement.

Both vehicles were damaged in the collision, and some road signs appear to have been caught up in the impact.

It is unclear at this stage whether anyone involved in the incident was injured.

A Gwent Police spokeswoman said: “At approximately 10.35am we received a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision on Nash Road, Newport.

“One of the vehicles had overturned and was subsequently recovered.”
