OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

DANISH AZIZ-HUSSEN, 23, of Beech Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in St Clements, Oxford, on September 30. Had 55mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £323, must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

LOUISE GULLIVER, 34, of Ormond Road, Wantage, admitted drink-driving in Limborough Road, Wantage, on September 28. Had 88mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £373, must pay a victim surcharge of £37 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 22 months.

NIGEL GEORGE HUNT, 25, of Fir Tree Close, Southmoor, admitted drink-driving in Church Cowley Road, Oxford, on September 29. Had 75mcg alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Fined £438, must pay a victim surcharge of £43 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

FREDERICK ANTHONY MUMMERY, 26, of Pritchard Close, Berinsfield, admitted drink-driving on Donnington Bridge, Oxford, on September 28. Had 92mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcg. Also admitted possessing an offensive weapon, namely a wooden baton, in a public place in Canning Crescent, Oxford, on September 28.

A community order was made and he must carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Disqualified from driving for 23 months. Must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

JULIAN LEWIS BOWYER, 50, of High Street, Stanford-in-the-Vale, admitted speeding at 42mph in a 30mph zone in The Street, Moulsford, on March 16. Fined £253, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Issued with four penalty points.

BARRY CRICHTON, 37, of Minchery Road, Oxford, was convicted of speeding at 60mph in a 50mph zone on the A34, Wytham, on March 19. Fined £220, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Issued with three penalty points.

CAROLE MARY GRANT-GARWOOD, 53, of Rock Farm Lane, Sandford-on-Thames, was convicted of speeding at 37mph in a 30mph zone in Rose Hill, Oxford, on March 14. Fined £307, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Three penalty points.

GOURI GUHA-THAKURTA, 56, of Bower Green, Shrivenham, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between June 4 and July 2. Fined £660, must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

ELLIOT DAVID MAY, 46, of Burwell Drive, Witney, was convicted of driving at 41mph in a 30mph zone in Ducklington Lane, Witney, on March 13. Fined £378, must pay a victim surcharge of £37 and court costs of £85. Four penalty points.

STEVE SEMAINE, 44, of The Coppice, Witney, was convicted of speeding at 40mph in a 30mph zone in Grove Road, Bladon, on April 13. Fined £166, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Three penalty points.

BANBURY MAGISTRATES’

DEAN GOLDSMITH, 39, of Albion Street, Chipping Norton, admitted causing criminal damage to a window and front door to the value of £1,005.04 in Chipping Norton on July 4 as well as driving without a licence, third party insurance and above the legal alcohol limit on September 26 in Chipping Norton. Had 58 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. He was fined £890 and must pay compensation of £189.04, a victim surcharge of £64 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 16 months.

JOHN INCE, 51, of no fixed abode, admitted two counts of assaulting a man in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on October 7 and 8, causing criminal damage to a door frame at Abingdon Police Station on October 8 and possessing a quantity of cannabis. He was jailed for 14 days and must pay compensation totalling £120.

BENANTA ALAAEDDINE, 22, of Church Hill Road, Oxford, admitted wilfully obstructing a police officer on August 27 in Abingdon. He was given an absolute discharge.

ARKADIUSZ NOWAK, 47, of no fixed abode, admitted two counts of assaulting a woman in Kidlington between August 30 and September 29. He was made subject to a community order to include rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days and unpaid work for 50 hours. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.

LEE BROMLEY, 42, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted stealing four Magnum ice creams valued at £3.99 from McColls’, Banbury, on August 10 and an Air Ambulance charity pot on July 9 at Gala Bingo, Banbury as well as failing to surrender to custody and breaching a suspended sentence. He was jailed for 28 days and must pay compensation of £8 and a victim surcharge of £107.

IZABELA CECKOWSKA, 31, of Manor Road, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on April 22, and on September 9 and 30, and failing to keep in touch on April 22, September 30 and October 9. She was fined £100.

EMMA CASHELL, 36, of Burwell Meadow, Witney, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on September 30 in Tower Hill, Witney. Had 58 mcg of alcohol in 100 ml of breath. She was fined £230 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and was disqualified from driving for 12 months.

UUMAR FAROQ, 20, of Fergusson Road, Banbury, admitted possessing a quantity of cannabis on August 12 in Middleton Road, Banbury as well as being in breach of a previously imposed conditional discharge. He was made subject to a community order and must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £85.
