TOMORROW'S business leaders and technological innovators are being invited to a school's open day to find out more about the options available to them.

The Bicester Technology Studio is hosting the event on Tuesday, November, 13 to give potential students the chance to learn about the courses on offer and meet with staff and current students.

Running from 5.30pm until 7.00pm, the Queens Avenue school said the open evening was a great opportunity to find out more about studying at a studio school.

BTC started in 2016 and currently has around 310 pupils aged 14-19.

Its studio school status means it takes a different approach to education and incorporates enterprise projects and real work in its curriculum.

The school specialises in business and engineering and works in partnership with local employers to give young people the skills to launch careers.

Among the course students can find out about on Tuesday is the recently launched Entrepreneurship and Enterprise course.

Prospective students and their parents will also get the chance to meet current students and staff and be taken on a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities before sitting in on a talk with principal, Richard Brown.

The event is free but pre-registration is required by visiting bicestertechstudio.org.uk and clicking events.
