Head coach Karl Robinson believes in the benefits of regular away days to get the players out of their comfort zone and the trip to St George’s Barracks proved poignant.

He said: “I think sometimes we can all go about our daily routines without understanding these people put their lives at risk.

“There’s an important grounding aspect to this and it’s a real privilege to learn about it.

“I think with our players (it’s important) we try to change their mindset.

“Every six weeks we’re going to do something a little bit different as a team.”
