A SOCIAL care charity that works with people with learning difficulties has set a challenge for all 100 of its staff to each raise £46 to mark 46 years of serving the community.

Witney-based charity Guideposts has set the challenge as part of its birthday celebrations which will be held on December 4.

Ahead of the milestone the charity wants to raise £4,600 to ensure its services continue and has asked all 100 members of staff for help.

Fundraising manager Marie Eva said: "Although the way we deliver our services has changed over the years, the ethos and values remain the same.

"All of our projects exist to help the people we support to be an integral part of their community; giving them a chance to achieve their aspirations, take part in meaningful activities, develop supportive connections and friendships, access training and develop a range of skills.

"We also work to ensure that carers have access to the support they need.”
