COMMUTERS faced major delays heading into Oxfordshire due to a crash on the A34.
The northbound collision, involved four cars, happened during rush hour this morning at East Ilsley, just across the county border.
One lane remained closed at 9am and tailbacks were stretching all the way back past Chieveley near the M4.
The lane has since reopened and delays have cleared.
South Central Ambulance Service spokesman David Gallagher said one ambulance was sent to the scene.
One patient with minor injuries was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
