IT'S beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Oxford Children's Hospital as patients and staff came together for the annual tradition of decorating the Christmas tree.
Some of the brave youngsters spending the festive season on the wards enjoyed an afternoon of spreading Christmas cheer while brightening up the entrance to the hospital in the process.
The finishing touches were applied to the splendid fir tree by six-year-old patient Harry Smith from Witney.
The tree was supplied by Oxford Hospitals Charity which has funded a number of other Christmas tree and decorations across Oxford University Hospitals four sites.
Sara Vaccari of Oxford Hospitals Charity said: "We are delighted to be able to help bring a little bit of seasonal cheer at this very special time of year."
She added: "As well as Christmas trees our charity also funds a range of important extras on the wards for patients and staff who are in the hospital over the whole Christmas period and we are grateful to all the charity donors that make this possible."
