A 'MASSIVE' crash temporarily blocked an Oxford road being used as one of the main diversion routes from this morning's A34 crash.
A large lorry apparently collided with two or three cars on the Wolvercote Roundabout at about 4pm.
It is understood to have cleared by 5pm.
An eyewitness who called the Oxford Mail said the crash was partially blocking off the roundabout, causing growing queues on the connecting roads including Woodstock Road, the A44 and the A40.
Beware of an incident on #Wolvercote roundabout blocking the exit from the #A4144 #WoodstockRoad. A lorry is blocking lane 2 but traffic can pass . This should be cleared shortly but approach with care #OxonTravel pic.twitter.com/wXzZ2V8T10

The route was being used as one of the main diversions following a major crash on the A34 this morning after which the road is still partially closed.
The woman who called the Oxford Mail said: "It's a massive crash there's a massive lorry and two or three cars actually on the roundabout... all the cars are trying to get through the other way but can't.
"The lorry driver was out talking to people in their cars.
"It's really bad because that was the route everyone was trying to use instead of the A34.
"Now there's this double-length lorry parked at the traffic lights so no one can get passed."
