A YOUNG mum at home with her two children was the victim of an arson attack in Witney.
A fire was started outside the homeowner's front door on Fallowfield Crescent at around 11pm on Monday.
Upon discovering the fire, the mother, 26, put it out and no one was injured.
Thames Valley Police officers have arrested a 29-year-old man from Carterton, who has since been released under investigation, but the force is still appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer, detective sergeant Mark Personius, of CID at Banbury police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious around the time this incident happened.
“We would also like anyone who may have CCTV of the area to please get in touch."
