THREE Oxfordshire attractions have been awarded accolades.

Hook Norton Brewery in Banbury, MINI Plant Oxford and Oxford Official Walking Tours have all been awarded by national tourism agency, VisitEngland, based on the score that they obtained following their Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme assessment.

The attractions have been acknowledged due to the outstanding experiences they provide, highlighting all aspects of the visitor experience.

Awards can only be obtained by organisations that are members of the VisitEngland Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme.

Hook Norton Brewery received the Hidden Gem award while MINI Plant and Oxford Official Walking Tours received the 'Best Told Story' award.

Andrew Stokes, the director of VisitEngland, said: "It is fantastic to see these accolades recognising the work of those employees, managers and owners who make sure that all who pass through their doors have a truly memorable experience."
