A CARE home is asking residents to nominate their local heroes for a cash prize.
Millers Grange on Curbridge Road, Witney, is searching for people or organisations who go above and beyond and have a positive impact on their area.
The winner will receive £500 and be invited to the opening of the new care home at its launch event this summer.
Second place will be given £200, while third place will receive £100.

Steve Reader, home manager at Millers Grange, said: “We all know that one person who organises everything, is always there for others and never shies away from offering a helping hand – so here at Millers Grange we want to say thank you.
“Whether they’re a volunteer at a local charity, a community group that really makes a difference to the area, or simply someone who goes that extra mile for others – share your story with us so we can reward them with the treat they deserve.”
To nominate your local hero, visit http://www.careuk.com/care-homes/millers-grange/local-heroes before Sunday, March 31.
