The Yarnton Community Facebook page said there had been reports that 'young lads' were responsible for the damage on Friday night in the village's community orchard.

Many of the fruit trees were planted on December 1 last year and were sponsored by members of the local community.
They were intended for children to enjoy in 15 years' time when they eventually bear fruit.
Anyone who witnessed the vandalism has been urged to call the police.
