Brace yourselves for more blustery weather this week as Storm Gareth is set to sweep across Oxfordshire.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning as the storm is due to bring 'strong north-westerly winds' on Wednesday with gusts of up to 50-55mph.

The county has had sunshine, wind, showers and last night even experienced hail and snow.

As the storm moves away from the UK, the county is forecast unsettled weather with showers, spells of rain.

Hail is expected on Tuesday evening in Oxford.

Oxfordshire's trees have suffered from the high-speed winds that have already blown across the county.

Winds are expected to gradually ease on Wednesday afternoon but the county will see heavy rain from tonight into tomorrow morning in the lead up to the wind.

The yellow weather warning for Wednesday is in place from midnight until 3pm.
