POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a missing woman from Summertown, Oxford.

Lorraine Easom, who also uses the first name Claudia, was reported missing yesterday.

The 55-year-old, who has links to Oxford and Kidlington, was last seen at a property in Harpes Road on Wednesday, March 6.

Thames Valley Police said Ms Easom has trouble walking far and normally uses a bicycle as a walking aid, but this bike has been left at home.

The force has described her as white, 5ft 2ins, with brown shoulder length hair, and brown eyes.

When she was last seen she was wearing a white fluffy jumper, with a pale/cream polo neck jumper underneath, black tights, a cream skirt, and ballet pump style shoes.

A green and brown bag is also missing so is believed to be with her.

Detective Inspector James Senior, based at St Aldates police station, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who has seen Lorraine, who is also known as Claudia, since last Wednesday.

“Lorraine has a spinal condition which means she cannot walk very far and normally uses a bicycle to push as a walking aid. Her bicycle has been left at home.

“If you believe you have seen Lorraine, or someone matching her description, please call police as soon as possible as we have concerns for her welfare.”

Anyone with any information about Lorraine’s whereabouts should contact police on 101 quoting the reference 444 (11/3)
