HIGH winds are set to sweep across Oxfordshire this morning as the aftermath of Storm Gareth continues to affect much of the UK.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind until 1pm today, with a 'spell of gusty winds' expected to impact most of the country.
Drivers and public transport passengers have been warned to expect delays, with some journeys predicted to take longer due to the weather.
The Met Office also says short term loss of power and other services is possible in some areas.

Many parts of the county have been hit by rain this morning, but this is expected to clear later this morning, with some sunny spells around lunchtime.
The Met Office tweeted this forecast shortly after 7am this morning.
Hello! A cloudy, wet and windy start for many. The rain will clear most areas through the morning, although it could stay cloudy and wet in SW England. Sunny spells and blustery showers will follow and winds will gradually ease. More here: https://t.co/cQSfu1VDbo ^Jennifer pic.twitter.com/l1rigqOimF
