A PETITION against NHS England's decision to strip the Churchill Hospital of a vital cancer scanning service has attracted more than 8,000 signatures.
The online petition which urges Health Secretary Matt Hancock to intervene in the move to award a PET-CT scanning contract to private firm InHealth Group, was set up by local cancer patient Alan Davidson.

Mr Davidson states on the petition that the treatment he received at the Headington hospital was 'speedy and efficient' with 'excellent care from both administrative and medical staff'.
