A MAN was knocked off his bike during a rush hour crash in Oxford city centre this afternoon.
Paramedics were called to the scene in Botley Road near the railway bridge at around 4.40pm today.
The incident saw traffic being held along the Botley Road causing long tailbacks in both directions.

An eyewitness said: “There was a crowd of people around the injured person, a few people had obviously come out of their cars and were talking in the middle of the road.
“Traffic was at a standstill right up to George Street by the looks of things.”
The extent of the cyclist’s injuries are not yet known.
