AN author’s own experience of dementia in her family prompted her to write a new book.
Nicci Gerrard will visit Blackwell’s Bookshop on Thursday, April 11 to speak about What Dementia Teaches Us About Love, which she wrote following her father’s death from dementia.
At 7pm she will be in conversation with Oxford medic Dr Rachel Clarke, author of Your Life in My Hands.
Ms Gerrard is a celebrated novelist and campaigner and was awarded the 2016 Orwell Prize for Journalism Exposing Britain’s Social Evils. Tickets cost £5.
