AN AMBULANCE driver has denied causing a crash which killed a pedestrian in Abingdon.
Prosecutors claim that Angus McCullock, of Main Road, Long Hanborough, caused the death of Adrian Hesford because of his 'dangerous' driving.
The 23-year old appeared at Oxford Crown Court today facing the single count of causing death by dangerous driving.
McCullock was the driver of a white Mercedes Sprinter S19 ambulance together with one woman passenger.

Adrian Hesford was struck as a result of the incident which took place at a pedestrian crossing on the A415 Stratton Way.
The 64-year old from Abingdon was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital after the crash but later died of his injuries.
McCullock, who was described in court as a 'professional driver' denies any wrong doing and pleaded not guilty at the hearing yesterday to the single count he faces.
