VALUABLES have been stolen in a series of recent burglaries across Oxford.

In the early hours of this morning, properties in Marlborough Road, Hinksey Park, Godstow Road, Wolvercote, and Weyland Road, Headington, were targeted. Handbags, a purse, bank cards, cash, keys and a subsequently recovered car were stolen.

Back door windows were smashed in the first two incidents.

A garage in Pipley Furlong, Littlemore, was targeted between Saturday and Monday, with an electric saw and bicycle taken.

Registration plates were also stolen, between midnight and 8am yesterday, from Girdlestone Close, Headington.
