The outage hit parts of Oxford this morning
LIBRARIES in Oxford city centre were forced to close after a power cut.
The Weston Library, Old Library and Radcliffe Camera were all temporarily shut to readers and visitors this morning, due to what Bodleian Libraries described as a 'major power cut in Oxford city centre.'
Unfortunately, a major power cut in Oxford city centre means that the Weston Library is currently closed to both readers and visitors. We hope to reopen later this morning, depending on when the issue has been fixed. pic.twitter.com/t3bcijnR04

The closures were reported on Twitter at 8am but the libraries had reopened by 9am, after the issue was fixed.
