A MAN who burgled a house and stole a car - which he crashed - has been jailed for three years and nine months.
Michael Hogan, 29, of the Park, Harwell, was convicted and sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, May 17.
He pleaded guilty to one count of burglary dwelling and one count of theft of a motor vehicle.

He entered a property in High Street in Harwell on October 14, 2018 and stole a handbag, a purse, money and car keys before stealing a car which he crashed shortly afterwards.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Chaz Boshell, based at Abingdon police station said: “This sentence shows how seriously burglary and theft are taken by police and the courts and what the consequences of this type of offence can be.
“Burglaries can have a serious effect on their victims and I hope that this serves as a warning to other offenders that these offences will not be tolerated.”
