THE county council will appoint a new Director of Adult Social Care after its last left earlier this month.
Kate Terroni now works for the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
She was appointed the chief inspector of Adult Social Care (ASC) in January.
Her successor will be appointed next week following a meeting of the county council's remuneration committee.
It will meet at County Hall in Oxford from 3.30pm next Monday. It will be held in private.
At the start of the year, Mrs Terroni said: “This is an incredibly important time for adult social care."
She added: "I am passionate about putting people who use services and their families at the heart of everything we do."
