THE Oxford Fudge Kitchen will host an 'array of fundraising initiatives', including playing Tag with customers and dressing up, for National Fudge Day next weekend.

It is raising money for the charity Body and Soul and will hold fudge-making demonstrations at its decorated Broad Street store.

Across the weekend of June 15 - 16, the shop will demonstrate the traditional art of authentic fudge making, in copper pans and on marble slabs, ahead of National Fudge Day on June 16 - which is also Father's Day.

Staff will dress up to the theme of 'Childhood Heroes' and play Tag amongst themselves and even with customers, to build the highest number of steps in an inter-shop competition across the two days.

The chain's three top-scoring shops will win extra donations to the company's charity.

A £1 donation from a number of boxes of slices will be on offer, including a 'limited edition Fathers’ Day Selection gift box'.
