THIS stunning artwork will be the centrepiece of a new exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum. From June 28 the attraction will feature the paintings of German artist AR Penck.
The exhibition, his first in the UK in over 30 years, features 40 works made between 1970–90 when AR Penck moved between East and West Germany, Britain and Ireland.

Dr Lena Fritsch, curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, said: “2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and it is a wonderful opportunity to mount an exhibition of AR Penck’s work.”
