SEVEN vehicles have been struck by thieves in a string of break-ins overnight.

Cash, cards, laptops, bags and clothing were stolen from the various vehicles targeted across southern Oxfordshire.

It happened between 1am and 3am on Thursday, June 6, and vehicles were broken into in Kingston Bagpuize, Southmoor and Longworth.

Thames Valley Police has released CCTV today of a man they would like to speak to as part of the investigation.

Investigating officer PC Tom Pryor based at Faringdon police station said: “I am releasing a CCTV image of this person as I believe that they may have information that is vital to this investigation.

“I urge anyone who recognises this person or has any information about this incident to contact police quoting reference ‘43190169592’ on non-emergency number 101, or to make a report online.

“Alternatively, you can make a report anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

The seven thefts happened in Cadelworth Way in Kingston Bagpuize, Storksbill Lane, Laurel Drive and Latton Close in Southmoor, and Field Close, Cascade Corner and Bramling Cross in Longworth.
