A THIEF stole a gift card and used it to go shopping at a garden centre.

Thames Valley Police said the card was taken during an event at Warwick Hall in Burford, and has today released CCTV of a man who could have 'vital' information about what happened.

The theft happened between 7.30pm and midnight on Saturday, April 6, but police did not state who the victim was or how it was taken.

The force said the gift card was later used to purchase items from a garden centre.
