MUSIC and dance will take over the Ashmolean Museum tomorrow to celebrate the Windrush generation.
Between 12pm and 4pm there will live performances and talks to commemorate the arrival of the Empire Windrush from the Caribbean in 1948 and the contribution of the those who arrived to the city.
ALSO READ: What Oxford's Windrush Day organisers had to sayThe celebrations are also set to continue on Sunday with a special service of remembrance at the Christian Life Centre in East Oxford where gospel choir, Black Voices, as well as local gospel choirs will sing.
