For the eighth year, Japanese students from the Select English Summer School will be dressed in their colourful traditional costumes and demonstrate their skills at traditional crafts including Calligraphy and Origami.

An 'intense' game of Tug of War will take place between North Aston and neighbouring villages and there will be food provided by Pollocks, a Fish and Chips caterer, with their classic Citroen Van.

Yarnton Brass Band will also perform at least two sets during the afternoon and there will be refreshments for people to enjoy.

The fête will be officially opened at 1:30pm and close at 4pm and entrance is £1 which includes a printed programme and participation in a prize draw.

Proceeds from the fête will go towards meeting the cost of essential maintenance to the Parish Church of St Mary in North Aston, and address the cost of restoring the historic Lych Gate as well as the creation of a new entrance path to make access easier for wheelchair users.
