TEMPLE Cowley swimming pool was a splash hit for these four children when it opened in November 1986.
They were the first to take the plunge when the smart new complex opened to the public.
Philip Thornton, 14, Clayton Toms, 12, Glenn Dick, 12 and Kevin Peacock, 12 arrived at the pool at 7am to make sure they were the first in the queue.

He said: "They had obviously got up early to be here and I felt I could not let them wait for two hours. So I took their names, sent them home and told them to come back later."
About 40 people were waiting outside by the time the pool opened.
