TWO actresses from a Christmas production that was performed at the Oxford Playhouse in 1952, visited Alice's Shop in St Aldate's, Oxford
Jane Asher who played Alice and Jane Eccles who played the White Queen in Through the Looking Glass, went to the shop which is where the original Alice, daughter of a Dean of Christ Church, visited.

Ms Asher sampled a lollipop before heading back to the Playhouse to prepare for her performance.
