Helen & Douglas House held a pirate-themed party last week, welcoming an award-winning Captain Jack Sparrow and Johnny Depp lookalike as their special guest.

More than 60 children, family members and staff gathered in the hospice's garden in Magdalen Road last Wednesday, enjoying pretend sword fights with Captain Jack and themed games including palm tree skittles.
The Henry Allen Trust donated pirate outfits, party bags and other items, and helped to arrange the star guest.
