THE insider knows all too well that hospitals appointments can take a while.
With hospital bosses telling patients to leave up to an hour to get into the hospital, we know its not just the appointment that’s a faff – it’s finding a car parking space.
That’s why we kind-of got it when we were sent a picture of the Lord Mayor’s Mini reversed parked into a drop-off bay.
According to sources the ceremonial green car was left in the zone for an hour an a half – an hour an 10 minutes longer than the rules allow - whilst the mayor was at an engagement.
Sadly, the car’s large silver embellished ‘Lord Mayor plaque’ pinned to the top of the car isn’t quite subtle enough to get away with it.
