A new website for Oswestry has been launched by the town’s Business Improvement District (BID).
The site at www.oneoswestry.co.uk will be used to promote Oswestry and all it has to offer, while all of the levy payers in BID are entitled to be included in the business directory free of charge.
It is hoped the website can also help BID managers support businesses in promoting their events to encourage additional footfall into the town.
Adele Nightingale, BID manager, said: “We want to let everyone know about all the great events that take place, about the fantastic shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
“The site will also promote all the things available to see and do in Oswestry and about the wide variety of trade counters and businesses we have on our industrial estates.
“If any of the businesses are not currently included they need to contact us in order to complete a form so we can add them to the site.”
The wesbite also includes a section specifically for BID which members can use to find out all about the Oswestry BID, its plan, the BID area and lists the BID board members.
It also gives information about up and coming BID events for members and the benefits to becoming a voluntary member and how to join.
Adele added: “As a new site we are still making ‘fine adjustments’ to it, but plan to make this a real showcase for Oswestry.
“The BID will now push to promote the site not just across Oswestry but to wider audiences to encourage, additional footfall, visitors and hopefully new investors.”
