Firefighters from Baschurch were called out to a bush blaze in Ruyton-XI-Towns on Thursday morning.
One crew was sent to Brownhill shortly before 6am with reports of a hedge, fencing and compost on fire and firefighters used a hosereel jet, rakes, shovels, mathooks and a thermal imaging camera to tackle the blaze.
They spent around 40 minutes at the scene while making it safe.
