A DRIVER was arrested in a village near Bicester this morning, as police responded to concerns about speeding.

Officers carried out speed enforcement in Ploughley Road in Ambrosden today, where nine drivers were dealt with for exceeding the 30mph limit.

In a post shared on social media, police said the fastest speed recorded was 45mph.

One driver was arrested during the operation.

Ploughley Road connects Lower Arncott and Ambrosden, with a 30mph limit at either side and national speed limit in between.
