AN Oxford community is progressing with plans to outline a vision for the area's future development.

Littlemore Parish Council, reporting in this month's Littlemore Local newsletter, said it is keen to hear residents' views about what should be included in the Littlemore Neighbourhood Plan.

The document has been in the pipeline for more than three years, and will set out preferences for new housing, infrastructure and facilities for the next 15 years.

Public consultation will continue until March and anyone who would like to share ideas can email np@littlemoreparishcouncil.gov.uk.

The parish council's entry in the newsletter added: "Community involvement is essential: your thoughts and ideas will be an important part of the planning process: they will identify local needs, and help shape policies relating to community facilities, the natural environment, buildings (homes, shops businesses and historic structures), transport and connectivity.

"You can help the neighbourhood plan team by completing the latest questionnaire, which will soon be available through local organisations and businesses, at pop-up stalls located at shops or in community facilities, or through team members who may call with a copy at your home.

"An open workshop is also planned for October - we look forward to hearing your views."
