POLICE have enlisted the public to help solve a crimewave of burglaries across Oxfordshire.

Thames Valley Police has appealed for help solving 11 burglaries this week from boiler thefts to break-ins and arson.

In a bid to urge witnesses to come forward, or those with CCTV and dash-cam footage to share the clips – the force shared details via its alerts page.

Anyone with information about any of the below can call police on 101 or file a report via Thames Valley Police website.

• Thieves broke into a bowls club through the front door and stole some cash.

The burglars forced their way into the West Oxford Bowls Club using an 'implement'.

When they got inside they went to the bar area and stole a cash box with money inside.

The incident is thought to have happened on Monday night, from around 7.30pm in the evening until around 11am on Tuesday.

The box was then found later, empty and without any cash inside, on the Botley Park bowling green.

•A child's quad bike was stolen and later found in a field after it had been set on fire.

The quad bike was stolen from Willow Road in Ambrosden near Bicester between around 10.30pm on Saturday night and 6am on Sunday morning.

The four-wheeled motorbike was then found burnt out in a field nearby the house.

It was discovered after it had been set on fire at around 7pm just off Blackthorne Road.

• Police are hunting for the thieves who broke into businesses and stole gardening tools and quad bikes.

In an alert Thames Valley Police appealed for anybody who may have seen people 'acting suspiciously' around Launton at the weekend.

The thefts happened near Bicester and two businesses were broken into overnight.

The thieves stole a 'large amount' of gardening equipment and two quad bikes.

• Burglars broke into a business and stole a job lot of boilers.

The criminals got inside by prising open the back fire door between 5pm and 11pm on Monday evening.

When they got inside to the business on Sandy Lane West in Littlemore, they stole 13 boilers.

Thames Valley Police say they believe a vehicle was also used to pull of the heist and transport the heating machines.

• Burglars broke into a shed overnight.

Its the latest appeal from Thames Valley Police in what appears to be a spate of burglaries and attempted thefts in Blackbird Leys.

The incident happened between 6pm on Monday and 7am this morning – burglars broke into a shed on Druce Way, but stole nothing.

• Thieves prised open a shed door and stole a bike.

The burglary happened on St Leonard's Road in Quarry and Risinghurst between 11.30pm and midnight on Friday.

• Burglars were busted when they got caught trying their luck in the middle of the night.

At around 1am last night two burglars were spotted 'trying' door handles and forcing their way into a garage in Blackbird Leys.

The person who saw the two men causing trouble then shouted at them out of the window and the criminals fled.

They ran away from Berry Close towards Watlington Road.

Thames Valley Police shared the news on Twitter in a bid to get more information about the offence.

• A van was broken into and expensive tools were taken by a rural business near Chesterton.

• A burglar broke into a student house through a small open bathroom window and stole various things.

The incident happened on East Avenue in St Clements on Sunday between midnight and 9am.

• Burglars stole a bike hat and bike from a house on Divinity road in St Clements.

It happened from Tuesday evening at around 6.30pm until 8am on Wednesday.

• Thieves stole a car from a house on Slade Road and made off in it. It happened in Stokenchurch between 11pm on Sunday and 6.30pm on Monday.
