Drivers were delayed on the A420 between Swindon and Oxford this morning following a crash between a car and a lorry.
The road was closed both ways between the A417 Park Road junction at Faringdon and the B4508 Majors Road junction at Watchfield with traffic tailing back for two miles.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said: "We were called to the accident at 7.10am. Our staff are still on scene."
