The animal residents at Cogges Manor Farm in Witney were excited to welcome their public back, as Cogges re-opened to visitors for a new season on Saturday (February 10).

As well as Oxford Downs and Cotswold sheep, children stroked mother and son Toffee and Treacle Shetland ponies and the goats who are named after Downton Abbey characters.

Throughout half-term children visited the farm's recent arrivals the Norfolk bronze turkeys, Alan (Partridge), Delia (Smith) and Olivia (Colman).

There were also opportunities to cuddle the guinea pigs and rabbits, and watch the farm cats, ducks and hens.

The Cogges Kitchen Café and shop are now open daily with no ticket required with a programme of family events coming soon.

To buy a Family Season Ticket which allows you to visit as often as you want until November 3 with free entry or discounts on selected events, go to: cogges.org.uk
