An annual charity event which has raised £100,000 over the past eight years will receive continued support from a technical production partner company.

The Oddballs Rally takes place every August at Abingdon Rugby Club and will continue to receive the support of JLL, which is based in Wallingford.

The rally was founded by Vince Wooloff as a one-off event in memory of his friend who died from cancer.

It has raised funds for charities including the Teenage Cancer Trust, Mind, Young Lives vs Cancer, and Scotty’s Little Soldiers.

Dan Terzino, operations director at JLL, said: "It is JLL’s privilege and honour to continue and support Oddballs Rally and its admirable mission to raise funds for charity.

"We believe in using our technical expertise to make a positive impact in our community, and the Oddballs Rally provides a fantastic platform to do just that.

"We look forward to another successful year of entertainment and fundraising."

JLL provides technical production support at the event which includes lighting, and special FX production for live music performances.

JLL technicians also provide on-site assistance to ensure seamless execution.

Funds raised directly benefit the charitable organisations supported by the rally, in  part due to JLL providing their service at cost price.

JLL says the partnership allows it to "contributes to a truly meaningful cause".
