A cheerleading squad is set to represent the UK at the upcoming Cheer4All European Championships in Milan.
Bicester ECU Cheerleading squad produced a triumphant performance at the national competition in Manchester as they secured three National Champion titles.
This qualifies them to compete in the European Championships this June, where they'll face off against top cheerleading squads from across Europe.
The squads head coach said: "This is an incredible opportunity for our athletes to demonstrate their talent and passion for cheerleading on an international stage.
"We are immensely proud of what they have accomplished and are thrilled to represent Bicester and the UK in Milan."
Currently, the team of 22 is committed to intensive training to prepare for this prestigious event.
The group also competed at last year's European Championships in Germany.
Two junior stunt groups went to Germany, one aged under 13, and one under six, with 10 cheerleaders going in total.
Kizzy Burt, a coach at Bicester ECU, said at the time: “I could not be a prouder coach if I tried. Each of my athletes train so hard, they more than deserve every success that they gain.”
The squad was formed in March 2013 and first competed in the spring of 2014.
The local community's encouragement has been a significant factor in the group's accomplishments.
