THE next court hearing relating to issues at a Bradford residential building has been set for late July.
Bhupinder Chohan, of Keats Way, West Dreighton, and B&M Properties Ltd will appear at Bradford Magistrates Court on July 25, charged with failure to comply with an abatement notice.
The charge relates to an alleged failure to comply with an order to restore the gas supply to All Saints Hall and Trinity B Hall at Laisteridge Lane Student Village.
It covers a period between May 13, 2021 and October 1, 2021 and the charge had been brought by Bradford Council.
Another man, Haris Akhtar, of Exchange House, Chapter Street, London, had originally faced the same charge as part of the case, but Bradford Council has confirmed that there is no longer any case pending for Akhtar.
