Went on holiday to Kefalonia last week, the combination of me being 5 ½ months pregnant, a lively 13 month year old and a 6ft husband crammed into 2 seats on a packed 3 hour flight was sure to be recipe for disaster or so I thought! As it happens all went well, baby was entertained by young boy sat next to me, although husband continued to moan about lack of space for the whole 3 hours, not sure who was harder work baby or husband!!

Being pregnant in 40 degrees heat and running around after a baby was amazingly good fun, thankfully Darcy takes after her mum and loved the pool, however not so sure about the beach, this is where she takes after her Dad. Overall the holiday went very well and was much easier than expected – so if any one is thinking about going on holiday with a young baby - go for it, don’t let it stress you out and just go with the flow!

‘Bump’ is progressing well, I have feeling I have another lively baby on the way although thankfully most active during the day, ‘Bump’ constantly reminds me of her presence throughout the day with little kicks, this always makes me smile as I feel it is her way of saying, ‘It won’t be long now mum until I’m out’!

We’ve got 15 weeks to go before ‘Bump’ arrives, we are lucky as we still have everything from Darcy so the only major outlay initially is a new double buggy, this task I designate to my husband which will involve endless internet searches, checking out other peoples buggies and examining the brake discs, size of wheels and the suspension systems, you’d be forgiven for thinking he was buying a new car and not a buggy, it’s amazing the amount of work which will go into this purchase, he won’t stop until he’s found the perfect buggy worthy of carrying his two princesses in!!
