MORE than 200 parents and pupils flocked to an autumn fayre to raise an estimated £4,000 for an Oxford school.
The event took place at Windmill Primary School, in Margaret Road, Headington, on Saturday, with the proceeds going to pay for musical instruments.
Jordan Hart, six, is pictured laying in wait at the splat the rat stall just one of a number of different stalls to entertain young and old alike.
Masterminding the cake stall was Liz Monaghan, 43, with her daughter Catherine, eight, who attends the school.
Mrs Monaghan said: “Parents brought in lots of home-made cakes including Victoria sponges, lemon drizzle cake and chocolate brownies and they sold very well.
“There’s a very well supported raffle and this year it’s expected to raise about £1,000.
“We have been able to offer some good prizes, including lunch at (Raymond Blanc’s) Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons.
“The pupils enjoy coming along to the fair and getting involved.”
